TOKA is organizing online conference in Kosovo titled “My Career from Zero to Hero” which will be divided in two sessions:
Session One: The Challenges of Youth in Employment
Session Two: The Possible Solutions for Youth Employment
Conference will be held on January 28th at 09:30a.m.
Panelists of the conference are:
- Darsej Rizaj is the co-founder and CTO of StarLabs and CEO of the Digital School.
- Çelik Nimani is the CEO of the software company Frakton and also works as a consultant.
- Arianit Fazliu is the co-founder and CEO of the software company Kutia.
- Armend Berisha is the Creative Director of United Pixels.
The Conference will address the importance of a multisectoral approach in the field of youth employment, with a special emphasis on the role of CSOs.
As part of this project, a Kosovo Mapping Study was conducted to identify gaps in youth employment and skills development among NEET youth, IT, SMEs, and CSOs by Next Generation (NGN) Institute. The highlights of the Study will be presented, as well as one-stop-shop youth employability model that will be implemented over the next three years.
During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to participate in the discussion about challenges and solutions to youth employment in Kosovo.
The conference is part of a regional project entitled “My career from zero to hero- Strengthening networks of Western Balkan CSOs to implement one-stop-shop youth employability model for future jobs of 4.0. digital revolution”, implemented in Kosovo TOKA in cooperation with the Centre for Youth Work (Serbia), Centre for Youth Education – CEM (BiH), Youth for Social Changes – YSC (Albania), and Forum MNE (Montenegro), with financial support from the European Union and implementation of the project is supported in each country by: Montenegro – Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Montenegro; Serbia – Swiss government through project “Education to Employment – E2E“ which on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, is implemented by Social Inclusion and Poverty Unit (SIPRU).
